Something else stopped her. One did not generally eat humans; at least, properly civilized dragons didn't. Temeraire was horrified at the thought, and caused a dreadful ruckus when some of the more isolated beasts from the breeding grounds tried to.
This one...didn't look too much like Granby. Or Lawrence, if Temeraire ever came here and started a fuss.
