Forty Fourth Star [Accidental Video]

-There's a loud clatter as the communicator is apparently thrown to the floor. Conveniently, it lands at an angle that makes it easy enough to tell what's going on. And it's not good.

Tir stands in a circle surrounded by wolves and marionettes. He's been ambushed by them during while in route to another distress call. Heaven Fang is out and ready, but he already seems to have been fighting for awhile. There's an open cut on his head and he's breathing heavily.-

Is this how you're going to fight? Then come on!

-Several of the creatures start to lunge at him at once. Tir begins to fight them off, but his performance is sluggish...-

[[ Tir is free game, given he hasn't signed up for any beatdowns lately. You can also come along and help him. Whatevers, yo! ]]

[The sound of Gremio shouting out 'Young master Tir!' can be heard as he runs around.]

[Going against his own words of wisdom, not to wander around alone, Credo was doing just that. More so getting use to the layout of the city. He trusted in his sword work to keep him safe, as before he'd been gifted with his 'angel' powers that's what he'd relied on in the first place. The beasts were not overly difficult to dispatch... yet off in the distance he could hear something going on.

The device he'd had on his person on his arrival buzzes and crackles. Leaning on his sword a little he looks down at it and sees Tir's little bit of trouble. Is that all that ruckus nearby? Pocketing the device he heads towards it and coming to the scene see wolves and... something a bit familiar. Those demon marionettes! The ones that attacked the people of his city! A few of the sneaky marionettes are trying to attack Tir from behind, rather brainless things they are they do seem to have their moments of intelligence... if you want to call it that.]

Watch your back! [Credo warns him, as his sword slices through the couple demons that would have done some harm to the younger boy. Dispatching the marionettes he then turns his back to Tir, taking on whatever comes next.]

-Tir thanks Credo for his efforts with a few saving blows of his own, preventing the wolves from turning on the other. But now there seemed to be more creatures gathering around them. They were on edge, and entirely more vicious than normal. This wasn't right-

I'd thank you properly, but I'm still a bit distracted, sir. -Tir said with a slight chuckle, placing his back to Credo's and twirling Heaven Fang into a ready stance-

[The distance is filled with the sound of mild frantic yelling. A man is calling out a titled name over and over.]

Young master!? Young master Tir!? Where are you!?

[The yelling grows louder as the man gets closer, he turns a corner at full speed almost running straight into a wolf. Fortunately Gremio was not unaccustomed to battle, or surprise encounters. Having found his young master, and filled with the protective instincts of a mother he pulls out his axe fluidly and embeds the blade into the closest wolf.]

-Tir calls out, but can't exactly go to Gremio with the wall of monsters between them. Sure, he could probably break through their line with his level of skill, but that would leave Credo unprotected...-

[Credo say to Tir, wondering why there is such a sudden surge of beasts and demons. Another comes onto the scene, a blond man calling for Tir and he suddenly wonders if this could be the one he spoke to before. Surely this isn't the time nor place to wonder. Skewering a beast to the ground, Credo looks to Tir.]

GO! Help your friend!

[And he rips his blade out to challenge the next on coming fiend. Though lucky enough for Credo, another person coming to help calls out. So everyone can have someone to watch their back.]

Right! -Tir shouted. He made his move, actually running up an oncoming marionette (and driving Heaven Fang into its skull for good measure) in order to leap past the initial fray and get to Gremio. A few more graceful spinning strikes and he was at his guardian's side-

[Gremio sent his blade into the back of another wolf before Nanami arrived and Tir came to his side. He really didn't like this, and it seemed very common. There was no safety here anywhere was there?]

Very familiar young master. But this will be cleared out soon with the four of us.

[He drew in close to Tir, ready to defend, shield, or assist him whenever needed.]

[Credo's head turns slightly at the voice of the young girl, but his attention is mostly on the beasts trying to make a meal of them.]

Like many here, they merely wish for a meal!

[This is merely a guess, but with how terrible the city itself is and how poorly the people have to live, he can only assume the beasts have as difficult a time finding food to survive as they do. As annoying as the thought is, he knows this would be much easier with other form. He could easily dispatch many of the fiends with his attacks from it in one go. He would have to see about fixing the situation so he could use it again.]

-Tir noticed how aggressive the monsters were being. Was that really just hunger? And for so many...-

SUYAAAAH! -He gave out a battle cry, striking away several that came towards him. Master Kai had taught him how to face off against multiple foes, at least-

We need to get to safe territory, and quick!

[He surveyed the area around them, counting the amount of monsters and where they were located. It seamed that the clearest way, and with a chance to gain distance was to the right. It had the least number of monsters and there was a chance to gain ground.]

I will clear a line. Young master, you should help them through the minute there is some clearing, I will follow after.

[Credo kept closer to the young girl, close enough to keep as many beasts away from her as he could, while not being so close that he'd end up getting hit by her weapon. Putting his talent with the sword to good use, the fiends who did try for a bite of him or the girl didn't get anything to nibble on. At least not for now.]

[If he remembers correctly, that is the boy's name.]

Once there is a route to make our escape, take the girl with you and I will help keep your backs clear. Staying in pairs will be safer for all of us!

[It's meant as a suggestion, but as he's use to ordering men around... it probably comes off as that. An order.]

-Tir struck away a few more oncoming fiends, sending them back a good distance with the sheer fury of his blows. Master Kai's training at work was a sight to behold... He looked to Credo and couldn't help but smirk-

No offense, sir, but I don't need to take Nanami anywhere she can get to on her own. That there is the granddaughter and student of a man far stronger than I.

-In another motion, he prepared himself to back up Gremio in his attempt to clear the line-

Me and Gremio will clear the way!

[Gremio slashed at each creature ahead of him, hoping to clear a space they could all get away through. He was quite impressed with Tir's fighting, far better than his own. Not that Gremio was a great fighter, he wasn't. He had truly spent most of his recent life with domestic work. His fighting skills were mostly in defense and well enough to be of help when he was needed for such a thing. Watching Tir fight though, it was far more apartent then before he had arived, Tir probably didn't really need him to protect him. Here, they were fighting together, more like equels. It was a strange thing for him to think about it.

He pushed the thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. Slashing at another monster, was it a wolf? Maybe, he wasn't waiting long enough to identify them.]

The minute there is an opening, everyone go through.

[Credo honestly had no interest in who they were related to and who taught them or any of that. It was unimportant nonsense during battle that wouldn't help them stay alive. It was best to talk when it concerned the fight itself, not a bunch of nonsense. Or perhaps he was too serious.]

If anything, we should find the nearest shelter away from the population. Leading them to the others here would not be wise. If we can either hide till they lose interest or get better footing to fight them from we would be better off.

[He suggests while cutting down more of the beasts.]

-Definitely too serious, Credo. Tir was actually enjoying himself, fighting alongside comrades like this. Assisting Gremio, they made a large dent in the monster's line, creating a solid opening-

[Gremio was keeping the residual monsters at bay by swinging his axe back and forth ahead of him. He was ready to go, but wanted to go behind Tir, even if it was obvious his young master was quite capable of defending himself, Gremio could not stop such actions. It was his duty, and he would always take up rear and protect Tir, no matter what.]
