-Leap forward and roll! Tir dodges the attack, the blade slicing the bloody cape in two, giving it the appearance of wings now. A lucky dodge? Well this body had some great instincts...-

[The scrap means nothing, Lute already took to the air avoiding the piece tossed at him. His spell is dissolved as he cancels it trading it out for a new one. These are old tactics, and nothing even comparable to the finest of Hell's army. Yet, since he didn't take care of this quicker, perhaps he was getting rusty?]

I must be getting out of touch. I thought to give you a chance to surrender, but you have already done too much damage, I should have destroyed you without saying anything.

[A quicker spell this time, the magic circle formed around Lutes hand, and a quick stream of focused energy came blasting down towards the youma, Lute quick behind ready to attack after it had hit the ground, or hopefully the youma.]

[ Naja doesn't want to do this. He looked like Tir, he sounded like Tir. But he wasn't acting like Tir. She had to remind herself constantly that it wasn't him. For Walahra's sake, it was NOT HIM.

She came with her morning star gripped tightly in hand, ready to use her magic as needed. Blinding with a flash of light, and healing as necessary...she tried so hard not to use her magic, to keep others from widely knowing about it, but desperate times called for desperate measures. The Princess of Zhwan was willing to take whatever means to keep her tenants alive, as much as she hated to do this.

She came running in with a feline scream, lashing out wildly. ]

[He just glares at your pronouncement. You sicken him as much as the humans, at this point]

This way, Tir can react when he needs to, given they're all targeting him. ]]

-In a blink, Tir used more of his Youma-based skills to clear the beam Lute had cast at him. So it was going to be three on one, was it? He liked those odds. After all, he only needed so much time before Soul Eater was ready to release. He could handle this on physical skill alone.

And it became apparent as Tir spun Heaven Fang to knock aside Naja's attack. Strength, speed, skill... supplementing Tir's natural martial brilliance with his own physical and strategic superiority lead the Youma to let out an arrogant chuckle.-

This'll be fun... HA HA HA!

Ah, that one doesn't seem as good. More gusto, please! Show me some emotion!

And why would I do that? This is too much fun.

The same could be said of many non-humans, overconfident in their own power. If you could destroy us all, and wanted to, you would have. To claim to have a great weapon and show no sign of using it is foolish.

Ah ha ha ha! You know NOTHING of proper strategy, you incompetent moron. You NEVER reveal your strongest play in the beginning of the game! It takes all the fun out of it!

Trust me, this boy's power, this True Rune of Life and Death? It has enough hate and hunger to rip the souls from each and every single last one of you in a single go. With this, I am a living GOD OF DEATH.

Pretend all you want, because believe me, watching you grasp at straws is REALLY quite hilarious. But you're only delaying the inevitable. Once I'm done here, I'll have my pick of the meat.

[Riful had leapt back at the blast of light, narrowing clearing the area and frowning a little when the cat-woman stepped in. Still, it was difficult enough fighting a youma in human form; in this case, she could use all the help she could get.]

Ahh, what a very annoying little pest you are~

[She side-steps, shifting the sword to one hand and lunging at him-- trying to get close enough to cut. If he parries her, well, she'll be pulling the gun out of its holster and try to get him point blank.

Not that it'll do much unless it hits something sensitive, like his eye.]

In case you hadn't noticed, the action has already begun. Once this spell is finished, so are all of you.

It may be the last bit I get to use, but hey, I'll be the one laughing in the end. And who knows! Having provided the Rune with this many souls, it may take a liking to me and fully bond with MY hand instead of the boys. Sounds like a nice deal.
