Sixty Sixth Star [Video]
-The video feed clicks on to show Tir standing on what looks to be a giant tower of rubble. Sorry, Sho, he commandeered it for this purpose. He needed to be tall. He's also drenched in blood, having made no attempt to clean up after devouring Gremio.-
Ah ha... ah ha ha ha... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!
I KNEW it! I told them they were all going to die. They were idiots, the lot of them. But hey, Discedo, let me THANK YOU personally for getting rid of the competition. Now all that's left is to inact the final movement in this little opera of screams.
-He pulls off the glove on his right hand. No automail beneath. Flesh and bone. And an angrily glowing symbol.-
It doesn't have much left... but I've been smart. I knew this would happen. But I'm not going to die like some rat in a corner. I said I'd become a God of Death and I meant it. And I'm going to start with this entire city.
-The black miasma, it seems to scream with a thousand voices, begins to pour out from the Rune. The symbol appears above him, glowing like a sun and pretty much casting off an aura of death and destruction. Shit just got real.-
I'M GOING TO KILL EACH AND EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU IN ONE FELL SWOOP! I WILL BE A GOD!
TRUE RUNE OF LIFE AND DEATH! UNLEASH YOUR JUDGEMENT ON THESE PATHETIC HUMANS! LET'S SHARE THIS BANQUET OF SOULS AND FLESH!
-Oh snap.-
[[ Spoiler: It's not gonna work. But someone might want to stop him anyways. Riful, now's your chance to shut his arrogant ass up! ]]

I must be getting out of touch. I thought to give you a chance to surrender, but you have already done too much damage, I should have destroyed you without saying anything.
[A quicker spell this time, the magic circle formed around Lutes hand, and a quick stream of focused energy came blasting down towards the youma, Lute quick behind ready to attack after it had hit the ground, or hopefully the youma.]

She came with her morning star gripped tightly in hand, ready to use her magic as needed. Blinding with a flash of light, and healing as necessary...she tried so hard not to use her magic, to keep others from widely knowing about it, but desperate times called for desperate measures. The Princess of Zhwan was willing to take whatever means to keep her tenants alive, as much as she hated to do this.
She came running in with a feline scream, lashing out wildly. ]

This way, Tir can react when he needs to, given they're all targeting him. ]]
-In a blink, Tir used more of his Youma-based skills to clear the beam Lute had cast at him. So it was going to be three on one, was it? He liked those odds. After all, he only needed so much time before Soul Eater was ready to release. He could handle this on physical skill alone.
And it became apparent as Tir spun Heaven Fang to knock aside Naja's attack. Strength, speed, skill... supplementing Tir's natural martial brilliance with his own physical and strategic superiority lead the Youma to let out an arrogant chuckle.-
This'll be fun... HA HA HA!

Ahh, what a very annoying little pest you are~
[She side-steps, shifting the sword to one hand and lunging at him-- trying to get close enough to cut. If he parries her, well, she'll be pulling the gun out of its holster and try to get him point blank.
Not that it'll do much unless it hits something sensitive, like his eye.]

And you're all too slow.
Re: comment log!
Slow? He had barely even begun.]

Oh ho ho, now things are interesting!

BOOM-STHIIIING! An enormous flash of light erupts in front of her, intended to blind him briefly. With no delay, she leaps forward, aiming a blow to the imposter's head. ]

Insolent little pests! Just die already!
-He gave a series of strikes, deflecting the made and attempting to drive the other two back as well. Such a pain... that spell needed to hurry up.-

She scrambled up gracelessly-- just in time to catch another blow against the flat of the sword, twisting to one side to deflect and shifting her grip to angle lower in a swipe directed at his knees.]

His right hand burst into black screaming fire. The Soul Eater was ready.-
AND NOW IS THE END OF THIS! STAND BACK, AND WATCH AS THE ENTIRE CITY IS FEASTED UPON, HA HA HA!
-The screams were deafening. This was it... the pure and unbridled power of the Soul Eater.-

And then, darkness, and she remembers. All those arrogant, meaningless words, would he be able to make good on them? She doesn't believe it-- she won't-- and as she darts to the side, bringing up the tip of her sword to target that cursed hand, Riful tells herself that she is not afraid.]

Fighting against fate is pointless. This is my destiny. I will reign here on a throne of your bones, Riful. I will take everything from you. And all will pay me tribu--
-Something was wrong. Why... why did he suddenly feel pain?-
... What?! WHAT?!
-It soon became apparent that the Soul Eater's power was not leaving the area it was containing. In fact. it seemed to be focusing inward.-

Another magic circle similar to his first grew on the ground, stretching out and encompassing them all. A spell like this would take time, he really should have been weaving it slowly throughout the battle, but he had assumed a small creature like this would have been simpler to deal with.
Slowly white birds began to flutter around, the shikigami he had created long ago and let lose within the city. He used them to assist him now. Yet, as he wove his spell something seemed wrong with the creature, as if the spell they had intended to unleash where somehow backfiring. This was not a situation Lute was unfamiliar with, many a time an over confidant mage would try and cast a spell beyond them, only to mismanage it and be consumed by their spell. Still, even if it backfired, it did not mean that they would be safe, or anyone else in the city.]

-The youma began to thrash about as the flames began to sweep around him. The reaper of the Rune appeared then from a pooling of the darkness, rising from the ground. He wore the familiar black robe, carried the familiar sickening scythe, and held a... familiar face.
It was Tir. Or at least the image of him. It made it perfectly clear who Soul Eater considered to be its master.-
.... you... YOU! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!
SOMEBODY HELP ME! IT'S GOING TO RIP ME APART!

This was something she couldn't get too close too. Carefully, Naja stepped back, a flash spell flickering at her hands. If something went wrong, she'd be ready...but her gut instinct told her that this was over. ]
It's over, impostor.

-A cry for mercy? It was too late. Soul Eater raised its scythe, ready to cast the final judgement on this creature.-

And smiles.]
What a shame, isn't it? It seems like you are too weak a master after all.

Through the confusion. Through the sorrow. Through the madness.
The Soul Eater's scythe cut through the Youma and his scream roared like banshee. There was no more painful experience on a physical, mental, and spiritual level then having one's soul devoured. Nothing could equal it. The look on the Youma's face showed it all. It had twisted and contorted into a grotesque shape of utter horror. And he would not be allowed to simply die and escape it. He would feel the torturous pain for so long as Soul Eater existed. This youma would be added to its... special collection.
Soul Eater turned to face the three, a ghostly and ironically peaceful smile on its pale white face. And once the screaming was over, it all faded into nothingness. The only sound heard was the dull clang of Heaven Fang hitting the floor and rolling towards their feet.-

When the quiet came, as it usually did from such matters, he slowly let lose the spell he had been crafting. Letting it slowly dissolve into the air around them. Perhaps there should be a moment of silence for the departed, not the youma, but for Tir.
In the end he didn't know what to say, he just watched the spot where Heaven Fang had fallen. Someone should keep it for when it's owner returned.]

...it's over.
[ Then, quietly, she walks forward, carefully picking up Heaven Fang, examining it carefully. She'd have to return this when he came back. Then, without a word, she glances at the other two that arrived to fight with an apologetic look. Moments later she begins walking off. ]
