I'm...not certain I'll be as active as I can be with these plants about, ha ha!

It's not that I'm naive or anything! I mean, I have been kissed and all ~~Kasumi~~ but I'd rather not put anyone in an awkward position, you understand!

Mmmn, must be nice...

It was...well...it certainly felt amazing. It caught me entirely by surprise when it happened. And once the moment passed, I felt myself wanting more. We just...our lives were too different to make it anything more than just one kiss on that night.

...I'm sorry.

I've come to terms with it...I'll never forget Kasumi, but I know that some things just aren't meant to be.

I hope that doesn't happen...

...I met up with her again three years later during the Dunan Unification war. Things were awkward, but I could tell she still harbored some feeling for me. What was odd though was that...she had grown. I hadn't. To her, I still looked 16.

Tir arrived, shutting the door behind him with a heavy sigh. He gave the mistletoe a knock as he moved into the living room, plopping on the sofa and looking a bit forlorn.

"I'm home," he called out casually.

"Welcome back," Kazuki replied back out of courtesy, currently draped haphazardly over a recliner that no longer reclined. He was a lanky kid, you see, and didn't give much thought to proper sitting etiquette.

With his head curved back over the arm of the chair, he looked at the upside-down Tir curiously. "What's up?"

"Well...you know how I told you that there's a reason I don't want to be close like that to someone again?" Tir said, another sigh on his breath. He didn't want to say this...but if they were going to be living together, it was bound to come up.

With some hesitation, he removed the right hand of the gloves he always seemed to wear, and on the back of the hand was a strange and gently glowing symbol (http://www.suikodenrpg.com/images/rune_souleater.jpg).
