I have doubt that that will happen. The kidnapper does not seem entirely human. Sakura-san has apparently been kidnapped as a "meal"; not because of who she is. A target of opportunity, we can assume. Those together do not suggest a great intelligence; or rather, that the kidnapper may be somewhat - animalistic. I could be wrong, but with that as a basis, I do not see the kidnapper moving Sakura-san about because "the police are on to them."

If one looks at their manner of speaking... Perhaps they are human, but their thinking seems somehow - instinctual. The silver lining, as it were, is that several times they mentioned "stocking up" in preparation for something. This leads me to believe Sakura-san may yet be alive and unharmed. It may also mean they intend to take another...

Beyond that, I cannot say.
