Sixty Third Star [video]

-The feed clicks on to show Tir in his winter gear practicing his staff forms on Latimir's roof. Blah blah, yeah it's pretty impressive and nothing a lot of the older residents haven't seen before. Though the newer folks might be seeing the martial artist at work for the first time. Either way, he's using his usual flashy yet effective style. Of course something is different. And because his sleeves are tied up, they might just catch it.

And Gremio will recognize them immediately.

Tir is wearing his father's bracers. And wrapped about his right wrist is a length of pink silk. High quality. This, of course, is Kasumi's scarf.

Once he finishes, he gives a deep bow to the camera.-

Master Kai says that harsh weather is a great way to condition oneself.

So that's it. Even though there's no war here, you still prepare for it.

Not... quite.

You see, for Master Kai, the martial arts were a form of personal enlightenment.

Yes. I was just thinking of something.

Potch for your thoughts?

That type of philosophy reminds me of what a general might instil in his troops during training regimens. Though, I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that you have a similar view on conditioning, should I?

Hmm... I guess it makes sense. Master Kai was, at one time, of of the Six Generals of Scarlet Moon. But he really didn't like the idea of war, in spite of being one of our world's greatest martial artists and a fine military leader.

... And while I can't really claim the same accomplishments he has, I have to agree. For all the fighting and strategy I know, I'm not really... all that fond of conflict.
