Sixteenth Star [Voice]
Kazuki? I'm home finally!
...that walk felt much longer. Perhaps because the Heaven Smiles attacked the first time I made it.

[voice] I am the worst enabler ever
Come upstairs. M'tired.

"Kazuki? Where are you?"
[comment log]
"Tir..."
[comment log]
He leaned down to place his hands beneath Kazuki's legs and back, lifting him bridal style from the couch.
[comment log] EMASCULATED
This was certainly not the pinnacle of his life as a man. Kazuki did his best to squirm out of his grip without completely knocking the both of them over, but he was admittedly out of energy for struggling. How humiliating.

He panicked, though, he wasn't even sure why, as Tir got up to leave. Kazuki trusted Tir not to go anywhere without him, but... He sat up in a hurry (not a good idea, where did these blinky lights come from?) and grabbed Tir's wrist, refusing to let go.
"I, uh," Kazuki looked away nervously, so his shaggy hair could hide his face, "Please... don't go?"
[comment log]
[comment log]
He wasn't meant for this. He wasn't prepared for this.
Kazuki shook his head, and tried to calm down, but his grip wouldn't loosen itself. "No. Just... Stay?"
[comment log]
He eased onto the bed, feeling a bit awkward. This was, in his recollection, the first time they'd shared a bed...
[comment log]
Kazuki let go. He was being stupid, he realized, Tir wasn't going anywhere. At least, not now.

"No, I know what you're saying, and I agree, but," he sighed a little over-dramatically, "I'm a guy too, you know? Being helped around so much feels weird."
"...Thank you, though," he added in afterward, "I get pretty worried about you."
[comment log]
"My father once told me...that part of being a true man was learning when to rely on the strength of others to bolster your own," Tir spoke in a somewhat nostalgic whisper. How could he...how could he have forgotten those words in a panic like that? Maybe that's why Teo had come to him in that vision...to remind him.
[comment log]
I'm not much, but I'm here.
[comment log]
...he was still getting used to this relationship business.
[comment log]
But... in the same way as the past few days, as soon as he felt that he might be drifting off, his body suddenly jerked awake. He wanted to sleep. He was exhausted. It just wasn't coming to him.

"Why?"
It was a valid question, right? The last time it had started for a pretty obvious reason. Kazuki didn't quite understand where this was coming from.

He sat up to grab the comforter that was bundled up at the end of the bed, and threw it over himself so he was only a blanket-covered lump. The sound of shuffling clothes ensued.
[comment log]
"H-hey, what are you doing?" he whispered.
[comment log]
"I'm taking off some of my clothes," He said like it was obvious. Some articles started to slip out from under the blanket to fall on the floor, his overshirt and undershirt, socks, belt, "Don't worry, I'll stay decent."
[comment log]
[comment log]
...Damn, Karate had been kind to him.
"Not fair," Kazuki mumbled, and hid again, "I can't compete with that."
[comment log]
"I wasn't aware we were competing."

And realy...he sort of did. He wasn't fond of larger things, apparently men or women. Large shoulders, big breasts, they were more annoying to him than anything. Perhaps that was one of the reasons he had been so fond of Kasumi, petite as she was. And Kazuki too...he was just right, physically.

He melted into the bed, feeling warm and sleepy and sated. Maybe getting out some of that nervous energy was what he had needed.
[comment log]
"Are you comfortable?" he asked, considerate of the other, obviously.
[comment log]
Ten minutes, and he was out, completely still and peaceful. Finally.
