I don't care- Don't work, then. Take whatever time that you need. I can't say I was very much help to anyone when Kadaj-- ... When he died. It's hard.

[Instead of helping Tir up, Minato kneels down in front of him and watches as he cleans his face, looking for any missed spots. It's almost instinctive when he catches the dark smear of dirty water on his cheek, too used to being alone and affectionate with Kadaj, and already close enough friends with Tir to forget about personal space. He reaches out and wipes the dark grey droplet from his friend's face with the side of his palm, then wipes it off on himself. (Hey, that's what pants are for.) ]

-Tir nodded. Minato's allowance... was it has his friend or as his employer he didn't know. Either way he was more than grateful for it. He couldn't just escape to his patrols like he normally would. Because he knew... he knew it would an empty bed he returned to.-

Alright. Do you want me to stay with you for a little?

[Latimir... A place he wasn't looking forward to going back to. Not after seeing his place with Keigo. What was left of everything he made with Junpei, Akihiko, and Kadaj. All the memories... But he'd do it for Tir. There wasn't much he wouldn't do for his friend.]

[Minato nods back and slowly stands up. After dusting himself off, he reaches down, offering Tir his hands to pull him up.]

You look wasted... Maybe we should see about some soup inside and just take it with us back to your place, so you can rest.

-Tir took the hands, sluggishly pulling himself up. He leaned down to gather up Heaven Fang, which appeared to be in good need of a cleaning, as it was covered in blood and ash...-

[Minato casts a glance to the weapon as Tir picks it up and sighs to himself. He must have been running himself ragged to distract himself.]

... If you worked yourself to death, I don't think he would be very happy with you. You're taking a break from patrol, but you should take a break from going out to fight monsters, too, if you think you're gonna over do it.

[He steps around to Tir's side and puts an arm around him, not only as some sort of comfort but to steady him, too, as he guides him slowly to the stairs.]

-Tir could only nod, tired and disheveled as he was. But Minato being there... it really did help take the edge off. His dearest friend in this place... at least he still had that.-
