Coming forward with some information on the Rika Furude case, though it may just be circumstantial. Either way it's something I'm going to pursue because all it is for me is talking to them...

1) Cecil attempted to cut out his own chip on August 29th.
2) Shortly after saving Cecil from himself, Rika Furude thanked me. In private.
3) She is aware that Cecil's behavior has been increasingly erratic since her death. She vaguely mentioned "punishing" him.

Now I've been going about this as a friend to both of them, not as an officer. Any thoughts on these points, ladies and gentlemen?

The fact that she thanked me wasn't the weird part. It's the fact that she insisted on doing so in private. Even more so that was a strong filter. I doubt even Miss Yamagishi could have broken it. Why would she hide something like that?

And yet, unless she specifically told you what she was thanking you for, it is useless as proof. For that matter, she may have wanted him to remain chipped for an entirely different purpose.

You're getting ahead of me. She wasn't thanking me about the chip. I'm not even certain she knows that was going on. She didn't see him in person during the incident, after all. She thanked me for caring for him. I field treated his wounds, fed him a potato, and took him to the hospital.

Now, maybe I'm just weird, but I don't see why she'd need to go THAT PRIVATE to thank me for just saving his life.

I'd like to thank you for the work you have done so far concerning Rika Furude. Your connection with them makes it easier to find out any information there could be, as all I've been able to get out of Rika is that she remembers nothing.

Cecil... he knows nothing I myself don't already know. Or so he'll tell me. I can't assume there's more without evidence.

Though I am curious about what Rika meant by "punishing" him.
