-War.

War was hell.

Tir lets out a depressed sigh as he digs through another pile of rubble. More dead. No food. He'd already warned the [livejournal.com profile] bajkaiskierki not to eat any of the charred remains, as they may not have died cleanly. Not that he knew a thing about radiation. He just knew that you don't eat things you find that are already dead. He turned his attention to the horizon. That ominous feeling in the distance... That cloud... He turned his attention to his blond companion.-

[livejournal.com profile] tenei_star, have you seen any other survivors? Or any food...

-He'd wish he had bothered to pack some jerky away...-

[[ OOC: Feel free to come across any of the three travelers. They're mostly looking for other people, but will likely NOT be heading towards the highway. ]]
heavenfang: (abuhwhufu?!)
-Tir had spied the drone mother using the phone. So he thought he'd give it a try. Maybe it was a connection to the outside. Someone on the other end had to know what was going on. Now if he could just figure out how to work it...-

How do you even... Okay, the end with the string goes by my chin, right? Right, so... She spun this wheel with her finger and... No, that doesn't seem to do anything...

-In the distance, a voice calls out.- Young Master! Young Master! -It sounded almost panicked... And it probably was.-

Gremio... Gremio! -The phone clangs as it is apparently dropped.- Gremio! Gremio, come on! We have to get out of this place! Do you have your axe? Anything?

There you are Young Master! -Gremio's reply is filled with relief and becomes slightly louder as he gets closer.- Ah! Now that you mention it... I don't seem to have any of the supplies with me at all.

They're not in the building. I already checked. Let's head outside and see just where we've been abducted to.
-And there's not much else beyond that as there's a rushing past the receiver and the sound of a door crashing open.-

[[ OOC: Obviously they aren't replying by phone, but you can find this duo of adventurers running all around town seeking out answers. GO BOTHER THEM. ]]

All entries previous to this one were from a game called [livejournal.com profile] discedo. If you are looking at this for information relevent to Tir at [livejournal.com profile] amatomnes, you won't find any below this notice. Thank you!
heavenfang: (cannot be undone)
Sorry, Naja, but I can't stay here. We're getting picked off out there. I'll be back, but I'm not doing anyone any good just holding down the fort here.

-Tir is heading out of Latimir and keeping to the shadows. Time to take out some of the enemy... though it's unlikely a one handed man with a bo staff will last that long.-
heavenfang: (victorious smile)
You know, this came up in a conversation with Prydain. And apparently Raphael had the same idea. But... You know, we really should pay tribute to our own memories. People that have come and gone... and people who are with us right now. We need a way to say to future generations, even after all of this is over, that "we were here".

What I'm suggesting, Discedo, and I'm sure Raphael had the same idea is... we make a memorial. And on that memorial we start putting names. Names we remember from the past, names of people here now. A standing, timeless statement that we mattered to someone else in this world. That what we've done here so far was not in vain and that... and that memory really is magic.

Who's with us?
heavenfang: (cannot be undone)
-The audio feed clicks on as we hear an explosion in the distance and some falling rubble. Tir is panting heavily.-

LATIMIR IS UNDER ATTACK! WE NEED SOME HELP HERE NOW!

-A scream is heard, but it's far from human. In fact, it sounds similar to the scream heard just before Lucca's initial video feed cut off. There's another rumbling and sounds of Tir running.-

What the hell are they after?!

-The scream sounds again, and more destruction is heard.-

IF WE DON'T GET HELP SOON IT'S GOING TO BRING THE WHOLE BUILDING DOWN!

[[ Help Latimir fight off the Elder Spawn here!! NOW WITH THE CORRECT LINK! ]]
heavenfang: (cannot be undone)
-His voice is panicked. Those who know Tir know that it is very difficult for him to sound panicked. And you're about to hear why. The camera itself is focused on the unholy light show going on outside the city. It's simply massive-

Gracia! Come look at this!

It... it feels like...

That same power. It's the same power as the Rune.

-The video feed just focuses on the explosion for awhile. It truly is something to behold.-

... You can feel it. The suffocating fingers of death...
heavenfang: (wut r u sayin?)
-SUDDENLY WAKES UP FROM A NAP-

Was... Kasumi just in here?
heavenfang: (lucid dreams)
-The feed clicks on to show Tir's room. It hasn't been cleaned in awhile. This is not strange. He pans the camera around, as if showing the world the conditions he's living in. Trained eyes might recognize that it's Sakon's apartment. He and Gracia had apparently moved in. After a moment of just the hovering rotation, Tir gets up to close the door to his room. He locks it.

The camera is turned shortly after. It focuses on the nub of his right wrist. Still no hand there. Scars from the automail that once was there remain, but they are far fainter now. The view moves back up, this time to the window. It points outside for.... a good five minutes. Not a word is said.

After another few minutes, Tir sets the device on a nearby counter, turning it once more to look at the window. Tir stands there, though he doesn't appear to be... thinking anything. His face is blank... as if sleeping, almost. After a moment, he steps onto the windowsill and crouches.

Another five minutes passes. And then he jumps out.-

[[ Note: No, Tir isn't dying. He will survive the fall. Ironically by crashing into the same awning that broke his fall when he saved Kallen during the earthquake months ago. ]]
heavenfang: (presence in the afterlife)
... So he's really gone...

Wait up for me... old friend. It may yet be awhile... before I see you again.

Gracia, it's time we faced the facts. Gremio is gone, and half the apartment is rubble. We need a new place to live. I'd like to stay here in Latimir if at all possible and help Naja. At least... that's what I want to do. You're not under any obligation to stay with me.

... anyone willing to house two homeless young people here in Latimir? I can work for our food and board if neccesary.
heavenfang: (into action)
Just what is going on over there at Latimir! Has anyone heard from Gremio or Gracia?

Of all the times to be stuck somewhere else...

Doctors, I'd like to request a temporary leave of care. They need me over there, and I'm just sitting here being useless.

If you don't grant it, I will likely take it myself.

I can't just sit back and do NOTHING!
heavenfang: (ethereal)
... I guess it really does take longer the second time around. But... has it really been that long?

Soul Eater... was thar dream real?

Hey everyone. I'm back, finally. Anything happened in the last few weeks I should be aware of?
heavenfang: (life feeds on life)
-The video feed clicks on to show Tir standing on what looks to be a giant tower of rubble. Sorry, Sho, he commandeered it for this purpose. He needed to be tall. He's also drenched in blood, having made no attempt to clean up after devouring Gremio.-

Ah ha... ah ha ha ha... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!

I KNEW it! I told them they were all going to die. They were idiots, the lot of them. But hey, Discedo, let me THANK YOU personally for getting rid of the competition. Now all that's left is to inact the final movement in this little opera of screams.

-He pulls off the glove on his right hand. No automail beneath. Flesh and bone. And an angrily glowing symbol.-

It doesn't have much left... but I've been smart. I knew this would happen. But I'm not going to die like some rat in a corner. I said I'd become a God of Death and I meant it. And I'm going to start with this entire city.

-The black miasma, it seems to scream with a thousand voices, begins to pour out from the Rune. The symbol appears above him, glowing like a sun and pretty much casting off an aura of death and destruction. Shit just got real.-

I'M GOING TO KILL EACH AND EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU IN ONE FELL SWOOP! I WILL BE A GOD!

TRUE RUNE OF LIFE AND DEATH! UNLEASH YOUR JUDGEMENT ON THESE PATHETIC HUMANS! LET'S SHARE THIS BANQUET OF SOULS AND FLESH!

-Oh snap.-

[[ Spoiler: It's not gonna work. But someone might want to stop him anyways. Riful, now's your chance to shut his arrogant ass up! ]]
heavenfang: (embracing death)
Death... is a funny thing, you know? It just... always seems to get you when you least expect it. And here we have the... absurdity that it's not a one way road. How... ridiculous.

Maybe what we need is a god of death.

Gentlemen. The game is up. I suggest we allign ourselves if we intend to survive.

To put it in terms even the stupidest of you can understand: They're onto us.

I understand if there is some hesitation to abandon these bodies. After all, we got quite lucky with these abilities. But the fact remains is we have two choices: Fight or Flight.

So... what'll it be?
heavenfang: (reticent)
... The more I think about it... the more it feels like it was my fault.

Even working on my own, I make these kind of mistakes...

I had left Aang behind to go follow the monster that attacked him... I should have made sure he got to safety, I...

I'm so sorry...

I feel sick...
heavenfang: (Tenkai)
-The feed clicks on to show Tir in his winter gear practicing his staff forms on Latimir's roof. Blah blah, yeah it's pretty impressive and nothing a lot of the older residents haven't seen before. Though the newer folks might be seeing the martial artist at work for the first time. Either way, he's using his usual flashy yet effective style. Of course something is different. And because his sleeves are tied up, they might just catch it.

And Gremio will recognize them immediately.

Tir is wearing his father's bracers. And wrapped about his right wrist is a length of pink silk. High quality. This, of course, is Kasumi's scarf.

Once he finishes, he gives a deep bow to the camera.-
heavenfang: (reticent)
Well, uh... HEY GREMIO, um...

Gracia is going to be moving in with us. I can't say for how long, but I'd feel way more comfortable if she was with us than living on her own, so... I hope you don't mind? I mean, I'm sure you won't! I just didn't realy have the time to ask beforehand, so... yeah.

Also, does... does anyone know how to repair prosthetic limbs? I'm... goning to need to prep this thing for winter, and...

... and I don't think the friend who installed it is here anymore...
