The Balance of Life and Death

Looks like the enemy has fallen back completely. I'd like to thank Riou, Jowy, Kasumi, Gremio, Sir Prussia, Sir Credo, Sun Ce, and Lady Naja for all the aid they gave to our efforts to relieve the stress on the hospital's defenses. We really did it!

Sir Ace, I'd like to have a drink with you... nothing actually alcoholic for me, of course.

Sorry to my fellow officers, but Officer Riou is going to be out of commission for awhile. He got busted up something awful by a malice monster. Had he his chip out... No, no use in thinking like that.

The stress just keeps building up. Every time I get a bit of relief, something happens to make it all seem worse again. I'm getting a little sick of the back and fourth. Mentally, emotionally, physically... I'm getting to my breaking point here. After this is all over, I'm just going to fish for a few days. I don't care if I won't catch anything. I need some zen in my life.

Until then, I guess it's back on another patrol. Let's try to have it be one where I don't have to go rescue someone or run into a pack of hungry monsters, eh? Not that I mind these things normally, it's just... too much of anything will kill you.

POLICE FORCE AND ANY ABLE VOLUNTEERS, LISTEN UP!

I have a plan. If we intend to live through this, I suggest you all listen.

I need pact made units at the East, West, and Northern points of town, as well as a unit at the Clinic. Our job is going to be ensuring a path is cleared for any injured and/or non combatants. Just because everyone is being forced to fight doesn't mean everyone can, so it's our job to insure these people are safe.

Sir Yamcha and I will head up the South Unit, heading directly through the larger concentration up towards the High School. From there we will create a command point as well as a guard against floods from the South.

Got that? Alright, here's the next part.

I need units for EACH RESIDENTIAL AREA. That INCLUDES Gohl. They will act as defense as well as an initial escort for injured and/or non combatants. It's the best way we can ensure people make it to the clinic and high school safely.

The enemy doesn't have a particular origin point, but I DO suspect they have a commander. And I intend to find that person. Any information that can be provided to this effect is needed, as once his identity is found out, I'll take my unit as well as two others to apprehend this person and put an end to this nonsense.

Alright...we can't rest now! We've still got a lot of people unaccounted for.

Minato, Leni, anyone else who will volunteer, we need to make a running search for people who haven't been able to post their position. The fires are still burning in many places, so we have to be careful, but there's still a lot more to do.

I'm not going to sit about and wait. What we need right now is a strategy. That's, what, three men? Four? Only two of them have abilities of any kind.

I need volunteers. Depending on what skills we can gather, we can form a proper offense and bring these monsters to justice. I have a few idea, but I NEED help with them.
